Thousands of Nigerians Tuesday took to the streets of Abuja, Nigeria’s federal capital in solidarity walk for the victory of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as president-elect.
The walk climaxed at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Abuja where the crowd expressed satisfaction with the conduct and result of the presidential election.
The walk is coming on the heels of a prior protest walk organised by Atiku Abubakar, the serial loser and candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday to protest his woeful loss in the keenly contested election.
