Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State(Mr Sellable), has retained his seat by roundly defeating the candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Chinedu Rhodes-Vivour and Peoples Democratic Party’s Abdul-Azeez Adediran(Jandor).
As of the time of filing this report, the Independent National Electoral Commission is yet to declare the official results. But collated results from the 20 local governments in the state, show Sanwo-Olu is in clear lead with over 442,690 votes.
Sanwo-Olu amassed a total of 739,526 votes ahead of Rhodes-Vivour who got a total of 296,832 votes.
Adediran popularly known as Jandor came a distant third with 63,849 votes.
INEC is yet to make an official declaration to accommodate the votes from Lekki where election was shifted from Saturday to Sunday.
The total number of registered voters for the polling unit are 6243, while a total of 5621 voters picked their permanent voters card.
