Former Lagos State lawmakers have called on Lagosians especially the electorate to support the re-election bid of the state governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his running mate, Dr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat.
The erstwhile lawmakers under the umbrella of Legislative Forum of Former Members of the Lagos State House of Assembly made the call in a press statement issued on Wednesday.
In the statement signed by its coordinator, Hon. Ahmed Omisore, the league of experienced lawmakers explained that Sanwo-Olu’s victory at the poll will ensure the continuity of the enviable developmental feats the state has recorded in the past few years.
In the same vein, they called for support for the 40 APC House of Assembly candidates in the state especially the Incumbent Speaker, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa who is seeking re-election.
“We humbly call on Lagosians to give their votes for APC; to governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo and his running mate, Dr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat to continue their good work and also to the speaker of the legislative arm, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa as well as other APC Candidate for the state house of assembly for the continued progress of the state,” the statement read.
