As part of efforts to garner more support for governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his running Dr. Kadiri Hamzat, the Youths under the independent Campaign Group of the Senator-Elect of Lagos West, Dr. Idiat Oluranti Adebule have held a door2door exercise across the 28 LGAs and LCDAs in the district.

The exercise which kicked off on Tuesday in five out of the 10 LGAs in the senatorial district and their LCDAs namely Oshodi-Isolo, Ifako-Ijaye, Alimosho, Ikeja and Agege was rounded off on Wednesday as the youths, in their numbers, move around the length and breadth of Badagry, Mushin, Ojo, Ajeromi-Ifelodun and Amuwo-Odofin sharing the campaign message of the state governor as well as the party’s House of Assembly candidates with the electorate.

Reacting to the exercise, the Senator-Elect, Dr. Adebule commended the youths for embarking on the exercise as she expressed her optimism that it will go a long way to complement other efforts and ultimately contribute to the party’s success at the poll.

In the comment posted on her Twitter Page, Adebule humbly called on Lagosians to see to the party’s victory at the poll noting that such will sustain the progressives governance in Lagos.

On his part, the deputy director of the Youth Directorate, Comrade Jamiu Ademosu explained that the exercise was held simultaneously across the 28 LGAs and LCDAs and no fewer than a thousand contacts were collected to make a follow-up afterward.

Ademosu who doubles as the Vice Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Lagos West, described Sanwo-Olu’s re-election as a personal project for youths giving Sanwo-Olu’s sterling and inspiring performance in office.

He called on all electorate to troop out in numbers to cast their vote for the ruling party at the gubernatorial and state house of assembly elections.
