Senator Oluremi Tinubu, wife of Asíwájú Bola Ahmed Tinubu, foremost presidential candidate in the country and revered national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has promised prosperity and enduring economic stability for Nigerians if her husband is elected as the President.

Senator Tinubu said this at a town hall meeting with Persons With Disability (PWD) in Abuja on Thursday.

The former Fist Lady of Lagos state stated that there would be a turnaround when her husband gets elected since he will be building on the legacies of incumbent President Mohammadu Buhari.

She also said that the hardship being experienced in the country was because the nation was in labour and on its way to birth prosperity.

In her address, she urged Nigerians to give the Muslim-Muslim ticket a chance as the previous model did not succeed due to activities of those she called ‘evil forces.’

Her words: “President Muhammadu Buhari has laid the foundation, trust me, what is happening now is just delivering pains, when a mother wants to deliver, what will happen?

“Labour, pain. So we are labouring right now to birth a Nigeria that is going to be great, I can’t wait to see that Nigeria.

“I always tell people that they should try the Tinubu/Shettima ticket and if it does not work, it is democracy, you have the opportunity in four years to vote them out. But I believe that if you try it, you will not regret it,” she said.

Furthermore, she reiterated the need to vote for her husband because that is a guarantee that Nigeria’s economy would bounce back.

She assured the Persons with Disability community that Tinubu presidency would carry them along in its policy.

According to her, some sectors of the economy are in disability and a clear dissection of each sector would show a need to overhaul some aspects.

“I am telling people that it is not about money, the People you see in rallies are not about money but somebody they believe can give them hope in these trying times. If we don’t hope as human beings that means we are not worth living,” she concluded.
