It was another success story in the ongoing presidential campaign flag-off of the foremost presidential candidate in the country and revered national leader of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a massive crowd stormed the campaign rally at Michael Okpara Square, Enugu State to receive him in the southeastern state.

Party members and supporters of the former Lagos State governor in Enugu State trooped out in their thousands to the venue of the rally, even before Tinubu’s anticipated arrival.

Like in other states where the party had held its presidential campaign rally, the presence of these supporters caused heavy traffic gridlock within and around the venue of the event.

According to reports, as early as 9 am, the entire area was packed with supporters clad in different colours and brooms, chanting solidarity songs for Tinubu and APC.

Armed security personnel, first aid and emergency responders, were stationed at strategic points to ensure adequate protection of lives and property.
