Latest report from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has shown that no fewer than 32,684 and 13,703 prospective voters in Lagos and Edo States claimed their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) on Friday.

This was contained in its daily update on PVCs collection as it clarified that out of the 32,684 Lagos registered voters, 15,286 were female while 17,398 were male.

The electoral umpire revealed that 32,684 registered voters in Lagos state collected their Permanent Voter Cards (PVC) on Friday, Jan. 6.

It also disclosed that on the same Friday, 13,703 registered voters collected their voter cards in Edo.

INEC devolved the exercise nationwide to registration area/ward level from January 6 to January 15, after which it will be reverted to its local government offices until January 22.
