His words: “As students, I promise today, your frustration is over. Let me tell you, students, none of you will spend 8 years on a four-year course any longer.

“It is very simple. I am inspired and encouraged to thank you. We will make education a priority.

“Africa has the largest population. We have brains. We have smartness. All we need to do is to think properly and performed diligently. We are a great nation. The new beginning has come.”

Tinubu, who was noticeably overwhelmed with the reception accorded him, urged the teaming APC supporters to support him and other APC candidates on February 25 and March 11.

On some of the party members still in court, the APC presidential candidate, who affirmed High Chief Ikechi Emenike as the governorship candidate of the party, urged them to embrace alternative means of conflict resolution to resolve whatever agitation that they may have as a result of the outcome of the party’s primaries in the state.

“We are the politicians. We follow in the footsteps of our fathers and grandfathers. We joined political parties together; to salvage Nigeria from all kinds of frustrations and ignorance.

“Why are you taking it (party matters) to the third parties who are politically neutral?

“Please, Uche (Ogah) come home let’s talk this matter over,” he said.
