Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, on Monday, paid a courtesy visit to the foremost presidential candidate in the country and national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) at his Abuja residence.
Tinubu was in the company of his running mate Senator Kashim Shettima when he hosted Osinbajo.
This is the second time Osinbajo will be paying his former boss a friendly visit since he lost the party’s ticket to him earlier in the year.
According to a source who was privy to the details of the meeting said the vice president simply came to pledge his commitment to the Tinubu project.
“The crux of their meeting was simply. The Vice President came to express his loyalty and support for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kashim Shetimma’s presidential ticket. He told his host of the various administrative activities that have kept him away from the campaign but promised to have been with the team in spirit”, the source said.
