The Candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Lagos West Senatorial District, Dr. Idiat Oluranti Adebule has commiserated with the immediate family of the late Nigerian Envoy to Spain, Chief Ademola Rasaq Seriki (CON).
Theliberationnews reported that Seriki died in the early hours of Thursday in Madrid, Spain at the age of 63.
She extended her empathy to President Muhammadu Buhari, the foremost presidential candidate and national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Lagosians over the demise of the former minister.
The former Lagos State Deputy Governor said Seriki’s death was shocking and unfortunate as she stressed that it occurred at a time his contribution to nation-building is needed most.
Her words: “the late Seriki was an astute politician and a committed party chieftain who will be missed especially by members of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC)”.
She went on to pray to Almighty Allah: ” to grant the deceased Al-Jannah Firdaus and his family and friends the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss,” she said.
