The founder of One Love Family, Satguru Maharaj ji, has opined that the foremost presidential candidate in the country and national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu stands above other contestants in he presidential race.
Maharaj Ji, in a news conference held in Lagos to commemorate his 75th birthday, expressed his conviction that Tinubu would roundly defeat the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar and that of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, because of his antecedents.
He added that unlike others especially Atiku, the APC candidate was not a religious fanatic and that he had built bridges across every part of Nigeria. He said for him (Atiku) to have told northerners not to vote for candidates from other tribes but him, portrayed him as an ethnic fanatic.
Maharaj ji said: “His (Atiku) inordinate ambition has truncated the ongoing political process and arrangement of eight years rule being shared by the North and South over the years.
“It is an experience which has not only worked so well in the Nigerian political development, but has also helped to hold the diverse people of Nigeria together and deepened the love of all for a united Nigeria.”
