….Mr Governor Rebrands Alimosho ‘Tinubu’s Country’

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has challenged the residents of Lagos West Senatorial District, especially Alimosho Local government to deliver its bulk of votes to the foremost presidential candidate in the county and revered national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other candidates of the party in the coming general elections.

Sanwo-Olu made this call when he addressed a mammoth crowd at the Lagos West 1 Mega Rally held on Friday at Igando-Ikotun Secretariat, Alimosho.

The governor, in his speech, explained that he’d earlier commissioned some infrastructural projects at Isuti and Isefun area of the district before heading to the rally venue.

He assured that the electioneering will not affect his constitutional duties of delivering dividends of governance to the people.

His words: “Thank you Lagos West 1, we know that you’ve been waiting for long we went to commission a road project in Isuti and a jetty project at Isefun. We don’t want our coming here to be all because of electioneering. Infrastructural development is still ongoing. We are leaving her to commission another project. We’re not here only to campaign but to hand over projects to you. We’ve come to tell you what we’ve done and what we will still do.”

He challenged voters in the senatorial district especially residents of Alimosho to deliver their bulk of votes Asiwaju and see to his reelection as well as the victory of other candidates of the party for the national and state assembly seats.

“By February, we want massive votes for Tinubu because Alimosho is Tinubu’s Country. Is it not so? Don’t let our agreement change, don’t be deceived by some set of people. By God’s grace, the good work in Lagos State will continue. I want to thank you very much for trooping out in your numbers to show support for Asiwaju, the senatorial candidate, House of representatives and assembly candidates. Thank you very much. Greater Lagos is rising, it is rising.”

Earlier, the party’s senatorial candidate, Dr. Idiat Adebule appreciated the teeming crowd and urged them to turn in their votes for the party’s candidate across board, especially Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
