In the spirit of the season, the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for Lagos West Senatorial District, Dr. Idiat Oluranti Adebule has distributed food items to rejoice with Christian faithful in this Christmastide season
The food items were shared with the 28 LGs and LCDAs in the senatorial district as the former Lagos state deputy governor urged the teeming residents m to celebrate with moderation and adherence to the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Adebule said that the season offers a unique opportunity for Lagos west residents and Nigerians at large to renew their hope and faith in God to make life more abundant for them.
She urged the residents to draw lessons from the admirable life and times of Jesus Christ who personified love, unity, tolerance and humility in his lifetime.
She harped on the importance of peaceful co-existence noting that no nation develops without peace and harmony. She also urged Nigerians to work and pray for the country to overcome its security and other challenges.
“I’m thrilled to join Nigerians especially residents of Lagos West Senatorial District in commemorating this year’s Christmas Celebration.
“May this auspicious day strengthen our altruism, love, tolerance and sense of responsibility toward fostering peace and development in Lagos West, Lagos State and Nigeria at large. Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2023 in advance,” her Christmas day message read in part.
