In her address, Adebule congratulated members of the team as she charged them to see their appointment as a call to service.
She expressed her confidence in their capabilities to perform at their various level and ultimately towards galvanizing support for her success in the coming election.
Her words: “It has been a long and arduous journey since I won the primary of our great party in May. Ever since it has been a chain of intense activities with much milestone political mileage covered. And to attest to that fact was the composition of the campaign council which we are formally inaugurating today.
“The essence of today’s event is to officially unveil my able and dedicated campaign members… In fact, I am delighted to inform you that the spirit of cooperation has characterised our campaign council. For others, all I can say is for you to see yourself as an integral part of this noble course. It is imperative for you to take ownership of this project.
“Let it be an unshaken commitment of a conscious stakeholder whose contribution sustains the growth of the moving train. Let me assure you that we are on course and we would collectively chart a new course; the one that gives stronger hope for Lagos and Nigeria. Together, we will work to create pathways and opportunities for our Lagos west senatorial district.
“Therefore, we are here to sensitize ourselves to understand teamwork and the work culture. And if that is well taken then the mission will be accomplished.”
Speaking on behalf of the team, Ajala who doubles as the secretary of Conference 57 appreciated the former Lagos state deputy governor for the opportunity and confidence reposed in them as he promised that the campaign council will work assiduously for her anticipated victory at the polls.
“It will be based on issues that will bring the much-needed progress to our country, and contribute to the greater good of our people, most especially the ones at the lowest level of the ladder. And we are going to synchronise the campaign with what our party have done at the Federal, State and Local government levels. The truth is that we have those achievements in abundance that we can leverage to convince prospective voters why they should see APC as the party of choice come 2023 general election.
“I appeal to our team members to understand that we are a product of diverse backgrounds so the likelihood that in engaging some of our people, given what is happening in the country, they may be rude, but as ambassadors of our party and candidate, they should try as much as possible to comport themselves and exercise a certain degree of patience. Even if people are rude, they are not expected to be rude as well because two wrongs do not make a right. Moreover, we are the ones asking for something, we must ensure to convince them why they should see our brand, candidate, and party as the party of choice,” he said.
