In a bid to continuously foster and ensure impenetrable peace among members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), a delegation of former presidential aspirants, Wednesday, made a visitation to the candidate of the party, Atiku Abubakar.

The delegation which was led by Alhaji Mohammed Hayatudeen had among others including the renowned journalist and publisher of Ovation International Magazine, Aare Dele Momodu, Tari Oliver, Bar Charles Ugwu and Bar Chikwendu Kalu.

That will be the first official meeting among the aspirants after the National Convention that saw Alhaji Atiku Abubakar emerged as the Presidential flag bearer of the party.

Abubakar, the former Vice President expressed his delight to see his former colleagues and co-contestants. He assured the team of his readiness to collaborate and build a formidable team to see the PDP win the upcoming election and also to strategically position the party for the upcoming business of governance.

The team spoke about their interest in ensuring peace and stability in the party, stressing the need for the party to walk through challenges and restore peace to the party.
