The All Progressive Congress (APC) senatorial candidate for Jigawa Central Senatorial District , Alhaji Tijjani Ibrahim Kiyawa is dead.
He reportedly died in a China hospital after where he was admitted.
He had been previously admitted at a private clinic in the Federal Capital Territory Abuja from where he was flown to China for an undisclosed ailment.
Ibrahim was one-time House of Representatives member representing Dutse/Kiyawa Federal Constituency for two terms.
He decamped to the APC after losing election in 2015.
Information is still sketchy about the cause of his death as at press time.
Besides, little is known about when his ailment started but event was said to have taken a was turn following which he was flown to China.
