Former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was shot in the chest this morning (Friday) during a speech in the city of Nara. He collapsed and was taken to a hospital. His condition, as of this hour, is unclear. The Japanese news agency NHK reported that the shooter was arrested.
