– Bolanle Olukanni has been confirmed as the host for the ninth edition of West Africa’s biggest and longest-running gathering of entertainment professionals, NECLive.

The media personality became the first-ever female and the second person to anchor NECLive for its eighth edition. She is set to anchor the conference for the second time in a row.

In a statement shared by the filmmaker, she revealed that she was pleased to be back as a host and believes that NECLive highlights the impact of the entertainment industry.

“I am so pleased to be back as a host of NEC Live. I truly believe that NECLive continues to highlight and reiterate the impact of the entertainment industry, specifically showcasing Nigeria across the globe. This speaks to the theme of this year’s conference, ‘Sustaining the Africa Momentum.’ NECLive is for the industry and about the industry, and this year will take it a notch higher, drawing in a global audience,” she told Netng.

The TV host would be anchoring discussions centred on the theme ‘Sustaining The Africa Momentum.’ NECLive9 will take place on Friday, April 29, 2021, at Landmark Centre, Lagos. The entertainment conference will be broadcasted live simultaneously on Hip TV (DStv and GOtv) and online platforms.

Speakers for NECLive9 include Anyiko Owoko from Kenya, actor and comedian, Mr Macaroni, founder of ChessInSlums, Tunde Onakoya, Dr. Busola Tejumola, the Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels at MultiChoice, TV host and filmmaker, Bolanle Olukanni, Broadcaster Osi Suave, Sam Onyemelukwe, media executive, Broadcaster Mozez Praiz and more.
