First Lady of Nigeria Senator Oluremi Tinubu has felicitated the first baby born at the Asokoro General Hospital, Abuja.
The baby of the year, Chioma Odion Oyigbo, was born at 12.27am weighing 3.6kg at the facility.
Represented by the wife of the Vice President Hajia Nana Shetimma, Tinubu prayed for the first baby and other new borns at the facility charging their parents to give them adequate attention and care.
She added that the health and wellbeing of the children should always be prioritized.
The baby as well as the other newborns were presented with the hard copies of their birth registration certificates at the event and gifts.
Earlier in her New Year message the First Lady of Nigeria Senator Oluremi Tinubu assured of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to and is already undertaking measures that will deepen the nation’s economy and place it on the much desired pedestal.
