Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu foremost Presidential candidate in the country and respected national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has donated N20 million to a Catholic church in Benue.

The gubernatorial candidate of the party in the state, Rev. Hyacinth Alia, announced the donation on behalf of the former Lagos Governor at the centenary anniversary of the Catholic Diocese of Otukpo.

This was contained in a statement by Isaac Uzaan, Media aide to Alia, on Thursday in Abuja.

At the centenary anniversary held at the Cathedral Church of St. Francis Otukpo, Tinubu celebrated with the priests, religious, laity, and the entire members of the diocese on the joyous occasion.

He remarked that the church had for 100 years remained committed to spreading the good news of salvation in Nigeria, particularly to the people of Benue South.

The APC presidential candidate expressed optimism that with prayers and positive actions, the country would overcome its challenges.
