Residents of Bayelsa State must have received news about the arrest of a notorious kidnapper, John Lyon also known as IK Kpai-Kpai with a great sigh of relief.

The heartless criminal, turned jellyfish, was arrested recently by a crack team of the Nigeria Police Force in Abuja.

Lyon is well known in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State and the Federal Capital Territory Abuja for his lavish lifestyle in Clubs and bars without any visible means of making an income. Until the long arm of the law caught up with him, he lived life to the hilts on the fast lane. Clubbing, womanizing and senseless spending were some of his unhidden specialties.

In a video that had gone viral on the social media, he timidly confessed to have participated in only two kidnap operations with his gang but was however confronted by one of his victims that claimed to recognize and also ready to testify against him in the court of law whenever he’s arraigned to face justice for his criminal exploits that inflicted pains, anguish and deaths on innocent Nigerians.
