With less than a week to the commencement of presidential and national assembly campaigns, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the lists of its 422-member Presidential Campaign Council.
The campaign council has a mandate of strategizing and implementing campaign activities for the foremost presidential candidate in the country and national leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima.
The list, made available to Theliberationnews on Friday, comprised 422 prominent politicians who are members of the party and other walks of life.
Out of the four major political parties that make the news everyday (PDP, Labour Party and NNPP), the All Progressives Congress, APC is first to publish its Presidential Campaign Council.
More prominent those named in the Presidential Campaign Council under Performing Arts Directorate are the wife of Lagos State Chapter of Labour Party, Foluke Daramola, Zark Orji, Jide Kosoko, Saheed Balogun, Gentle Jack, and about 20 other film actors that will play major role during the campaign.
Not stopping that that, the campaign team equally featured five ex-army generals saddled with Intelligence and security.
Among those that made the list include: Tukur Yusuf Buratai – Co Deputy Director, Sadiq Garba – Deputy Director, Jubril Abdulmalik – Director, Abayomi Olorunisakin – Co Director, Ladan Yusuf – Assistant secretary and Bassey Eteng – Secretary.
