There have been some minor shakeups in the federal cabinet as President Muhammadu Buhari inaugurated seven new cabinet members.

The new seven cabinet members who were recently screened by the senate were sworn in during the FEC meeting held today at the presidential villa.

They were Ekumankama Joseph – Ebonyi State, Umar Ibrahim El-Yakub – Kano State, Goodluck Nnana Opiah – Imo State, Ademola Adewole Adegoroye – Ondo State, Henry Ikechukwu Ikoh – Abia State, Odum Odih – Rivers State and Henry Ikechukwu Okoh.

The development, however, led to a minor reshuffling in the cabinet with Senator Gbemisola Saraki being returned as a junior minister having held forth in an acting capacity as the minister of transportation since the resignation of Hon. Rotimi Amaechi.

Saraki was announced as a junior minister in the ministry of solid minerals while one of the newly inaugurated cabinet members, Umana Okoh has been appointed as the substantive minister of Niger Delta.

Senator Mamora, on the other hand, who has been the minister of state for health has been moved to the same capacity as the Minister of State for Science and Technology.

2. Muazu Jaji Sambo- Minister of transportation

3. Olorunimbe Mammora- Minister of , Science and Technology

4. Sharon Ikeazor- Minister of state Niger delta affairs

6. Gbemisola Saraki- Minister for state mines and steel

7.Umar Ibrahim El yakub- Minister of state works and housing

8.Goodluck Nanah Opiah- Minister of state education

9. Ademola Adewole Adegoroye- Minister of state, Transportation.

Ikoh Henry ikechukwu- Minister of state, Science and Technology

11. Odum Udi- Minister of state, Environment

12. Ekumankama Joseph Nkama- Minister of state Health
