Mrs. Deborah Mbara, the cancer survivor whose medical report was allegedly manipulated by popular relationship therapist Blessing “CEO” Okoro has spoken out following threats of legal action against the media personality.
Mbara, a Creative Director of Zazi Beauty, accused Blessing of betraying her trust by deceiving her into gaining access to her medical documents.
According to Deborah, Blessing reached out to her in a distressed state during a phone call, crying and claiming she feared for her own health. She said Blessing then asked for her cancer medical report, saying she wanted to compare it with hers.
Deborah said she shared the document believing the request was genuine, only to later discover that her medical report had been circulated online with Blessing’s name allegedly attached to it.
She also dismissed claims by Blessing that they had never met, insisting there was clear evidence of their previous interactions.
This comes after Blessing, during an interview on Arise TV, denied knowing Deborah or her brother, who had also been vocal in calling her out publicly.
In response, Deborah released a video allegedly showing both of them together in Asaba, where she claimed she did Blessing’s makeup during a visit last year.
She further alleged that Blessing recently returned to Asaba to plead with her family after they threatened legal action. According to her, her husband stated that forgiveness would only be considered if Blessing publicly corrected the narrative online.
However, Deborah said Blessing has yet to do so, noting instead that she has deactivated her Instagram account.
“This is evil. This is wickedness. This is demonic,” Deborah said, expressing anger over the situation
