The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Lagos State Chapter under the leadership of Engr Adigun Ibrahim has, on Thursday, assigned portfolios to the appointees nominated into the 17 Directorates established to further ensure inclusiveness and smooth operation of the council’s activities.

The ceremonious event held at the Youth House, Yaba, Lagos follows the inauguration of Directorate members on August 26, with the assurance that after a thorough evaluation of their past commitments, they would be allocated portfolios.

In his remarks at the well-attended event, Adigun made it known that the Directorate members had undergone rigorous scrutiny, resulting in the allocation of portfolios as it aligned with their respective capabilities.

To ensure a comprehensive understanding of their various assignments, the Legal Adviser, Barr. Adeleke S. Aroyewun guided the appointees through the recently approved Directorate guidelines after which the oath of office was administered to them.

Engr. Adigun Ibrahim, Chairman of NYCN Lagos, emphasized the importance of efficient duty discharge, as outlined in the directorate guideline handbook provided to each member.
