Super Eagles and Nottingham Forest forward Taiwo Awoniyi has given Nigeria a top rating above the United Kingdom as far as cuisine and football legacy among other factors are concerned.
The ace striker gave the rating during a recent interview with Livescore where he expressed pride in his home country’s rich cultural offerings and sporting legacy.
According to Awoniyi, Nigeria has superior cuisine and revered football legends that set her apart from the UK.
He also expressed delight in Nigeria’s vibrant music scene, favorable weather, and distinct sense of fashion, all of which he believes surpass their counterparts in the UK.
During the interview, the forward made his preference for superstar Nigerian rapper Olamide known, describing him as his favorite musician.
He further revealed his admiration for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, whom he crowned the most fashionable player in the current Super Eagles squad.
Despite his career in England, Taiwo Awoniyi affirmed his deep connection to home, calling Nigeria his ultimate holiday destination.
