The Democratic Party candidate in the upcoming United States Presidential elections, Kamala Harris, has vowed not to continue her administration from where incumbent Joe Biden stopped.

Currently the Vice President of the United States of America, Kamala Harris insisted Wednesday she would “not be a continuation of Joe Biden’s presidency”.

She said this during an interview on Fox New’s “The View”.

“There is not a thing that comes to mind” that she would do differently from Biden and dodged the question again on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”
The interview was hosted by Fox News’ “Special Report” host Bret Baier.

“My presidency will not be a continuation of Joe Biden’s presidency, and, like every new president that comes in to office, I will bring my life experiences, my professional experiences, and fresh and new ideas. I represent a new generation of leadership,” Harris answered.

“I, for example, am someone who has not spent the majority of my career in Washington, D.C. I invite ideas, whether it be from the Republicans who are supporting me, who were just on stage with me minutes ago, and the business sector, and others who can contribute to the decisions that I make,” she further stated.

This development comes as the election heats up.

The latest national NBC News poll revealed a statistical tie between former President Donald Trump and Harris, with Trump gaining momentum from Republicans returning to support him after a tough debate last month.

This surge is also attributed to voters’ positive assessment of Trump’s presidency. The new survey, released just three weeks before Election Day, shows other key findings, including declining popularity for Harris compared to last month, following a significant summertime boost.

It also shows a substantial gap exists between support for Harris and Trump among men and women and that abortion has emerged as a top motivating issue for voters in the 2024 election.
