Aole Arogangan was an Alaafin of Oyo king who ruled the ancient Oyo Kingdom in the 17th century.

He was known for being cruel and for his involvement the inimical slave trade. Before he became king, he was unrepentantly involved in slave trade and even reportedly sold his friend for a small amount of snuff as consideration.

The Oyo Kingdom was a powerful and important kingdom in the Yoruba race. The king’s orders had to be followed, no matter how reluctant the people were.

The kingdom was made up of several towns, including Oyo, Ilorin, and Ilobu.

When Aole Arogangan became king, he used his power to punish those who had wronged him before. He ordered the head of the Baale of Apomu to be brought to him in a calabash within 14 days.

The Baale had no choice but to follow the order, and he eventually killed himself to save his people.

Aole Arogangan’s rule was marked by violence and war. He fought against other Yoruba kingdoms and their generals.

Before he died, he cursed the Yoruba chiefs and the Yoruba race, saying they would never know peace and unity.

To this day, the Yoruba people attribute their problems and conflicts to Aole’s curse. His legacy is one of cruelty, violence, and division.
