Family of the late sensational gospel singer, Aduke Gold has set the record straight about the cause of her death.
The clarification is coming against the backdrop of claims made by ace radio presenter Yemi Sonde, that the singer died from Fiboid.
However, Aduke Gold’s brother, Pastor Ajayi Aderogbo, has revealed that she died from cervical cancer, not during fibroid surgery.
Pastor Aderogbo shared that Aduke Gold started her music journey in his church and had been suffering from cervical cancer.
He emphasized the importance of verifying information before spreading rumours and confirmed that his family had received Aduke Gold’s death certificate from the hospital.
He also stated that Aduke Gold passed away on Monday, August 12, at UCH Ibadan, and urged people to stop spreading false information.
Theliberationnews reliably gathered that burial rites for the late singer will commence on Wednesday, 21 August by 6 pm at Ayanleye Primary School, Ifako-Ijaiye Lagos.
It will be followed by Artiste Night on Thursday between 6 pm to 6 am at the same venue before her remains will be committed to mother earth on Friday, August 23.
