…as council boss grants Master’s Scholarship to NYCN Member

In a bid to foster familiarity and beneficial relationships with critical stakeholders in the state, the Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Lagos State Chapter, Engr Adigun Ibrahim, on Friday led other state executives on a courtesy visit to the Chairman of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, Builder Olusesan Daini.

The council chairman who doubles as Public Relations Officer of Conference 57, received the youth leaders in his palatial office on the council secretariat.

In his remarks, Adigun appreciated the Builder Daini for the warm reception and emphasized the importance of collaboration between the NYCN and local government authorities in fostering youth development initiatives across Lagos State.

Adigun went on to hail the council helmsman for being youth-friendly by ensuring that the youths are carried along in his developmental programs in the council area as he presented him with and emblem of the youth body.

During the visit, further discussions centered on enhancing youth empowerment programs and exploring opportunities for joint initiatives aimed at uplifting all youthful individuals in the council area.

As a significant outcome, the council boss announced the award of a Master’s Scholarship to the secretary of NYCN Igbogbo-Baiyeku Local branch, Romoke Ogunlana.

Ogunlana is a first-class graduate of Education management from the prestigious Lagos State University (LASU).

The council boss explained that the scholarship is a way of reinforcing his commitment to supporting educational advancement and human capital development of youths in the council area saying that his administration will also prioritize development initiatives.

Shortly after the meeting with the council honcho, the youth leaders paid a brief homage to the Oba Semiu Orimadegun Kasali, Emugoriade I, the Adeboruwa and traditional ruler of Igbogbo community in Ikorodu.

At the palace, Oba Kasali offered royal blessings to Adigun and other members of the state executives.
