A priceless opportunity has presented itself before the teeming youths of Ojodu LCDA as the council chairman, Hon. David Olusegun Odunmbaku has announced plans to organise intensive digital skills training tagged: “Technology Development Initiative.”
The training which is scheduled to start in May will be on for three months with comprehensive training on UI/UX Design, Data Analytics, and Digital Marketing among other digital skills.
The initiative is the latest effort from the tech-savvy council boss geared towards helping youthful individuals in the council area embrace technological innovation and gain an understanding of how to seamlessly navigate the digital era to unlock opportunities for self-reliance and national development.
The courses and others are some of the in-demand digital skills with attractive earnings. The training which comes at no cost will equip the participants with needed expertise and place them at vantage positions for job openings and financial freedom.
Worthy of mention is that the tech training is yet another testament to Odunmbaku’s resolve to bettering the lives of youths in the council area via meaningful empowerment and qualitative entrepreneurial training for self-sustenance.
With youth development forming one of the pillars of his HEYS agenda, which stands for Health, Education, Youth and Women Development and Social and Infrastructural Development, Odunmbaku has organised various technical training youths with the latest being on solar installation and maintenance as well as another one held in partnership with ETL engineering service wherein the beneficiaries were trained on technical skills such as electrical installation, electromechanical engineering, Heat Ventilation, and Air conditioning system maintenance.
