November 18,2023 witnessed the installation of High Chief Suarau Olayiwola Alani Bankole as Apena of Egbaland. The occasion was witnessed by the Who Is Who in Egbaland and Nigeria in general including Akinrogun Olusegun Osoba, Senator Gbenga Daniel, former governors of Ogun state respectively and Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola, immediate past Nigeria’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom.
The new Apena of Egbaland is a man of richly boisterous pedigree in business, industry, politics and social standing in the society.
A very happy family man and father of former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Dimeji Bankole, he is no doubt a fitting personality to the revered title that was at a time bestowed on the towering legal titan, late Chief Toye Coker.
