For posting unverified and misleading private information in regard to the dual citizenship account of the president-elect, Askwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu the Twitter account of self-acclaimed investigative journalist, David Hundeyin, has been suspended.
Hundeyin, who takes pride in being a traducer of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart, posted unverified evidence showing the former Lagos State governor has an undisclosed Guinean citizenship.
The fake news has since generated controversy across the country and beyond. Hence, Tinubu’s supporters reported Hundeyin’s account to Twitter management for allegedly “posting private information.”
Recall that Hundeyin has in the run-up to the 25th February 2023 presidential election published a number of hitherto closely guided information about Mr. Tinubu including his forfeiture of $460,000.00 to the United States government in a drug-related case.
