Barely 48 hours to Saturday’s Gubernatorial and state House of Assembly elections, some leaders of the Labour Party (LP) in Lagos State have dumped the party’s governorship candidate, Chinedu Rhodes-Vivour to endorse the State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who is vying under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC).

The leaders hinged their decision on the ill-treatment they received from Rhodes-Vivour who was handed the LP ticket.

The dozens of members led by the former governorship aspirant, Moshood Salvador, endorsed the APC gubernatorial standard-bearer on Thursday during a meeting held in Surulere Local Government area of the state.
