Ahead of tomorrow’s general election, a member of the House of Representatives and campaigner of Atiku Abubakar, Dr. Chinyere Igwe, has allegedly been nabbed with $498,000 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The lawmaker, who represents Port Harcourt Federal Constituency 2, was nabbed on Friday stop-and-search and operation along Aba Road.
Spokesperson of Rivers Police Command, Grace Iringe-Koko, who confirmed the arrest, said: “A statement on it will be released soon”.
