What has changed about Dr Reuben Abati, Arise News TV lead anchor of The Morning Show programme. He has been on the spotlight because of his jaundiced cum hypocritical handling of the programme he anchors with two others every morning.
Under his pretentious guise of objective presentation, Abati editorializes, leaving viewers bewildered by his unprofessional presentation hypocrisy especially against Asíwájú Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a better managed television station, Abati will do well as a managerial staff and not a presenter/anchor of any sensitive programme.
More importantly, he’s a partisan, being a card carrying member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on whose platform he once contested as deputy governorship candidate to a governorship candidate with narcotics smuggling antecedents in Ogun state. This is until the person’s death, a widely known subject with even the United States’ government’s attempts to extradite him during his lifetime.
