The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Foundation has made financial donation to flood victims in Nigeria.
According to Sky News, in a press statement, a Spotify representative confirmed the Archewell Foundation had made donations to both UNICEF and Save the Children.
The spokesperson revealed that the donations, of an undisclosed amount, would “help provide relief following devastating floods wreaking havoc in Nigeria”.
The ravaging flood in Nigerian floods have affected most of the West African country, displacing 1.3 million people, killing more than 600, and injuring more than 2,400 this year alone.
While Nigeria typically experiences seasonal flooding, the floods are the worst the country has seen since the 2012 major flood which displaced more than 2.1 million people.
