The foremost presidential candidate in the country and national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asíwájú Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reaffirmed his physical readiness for the presidential task ahead come 2023 when expectedly, he gets elected as president in the forthcoming general elections.
In a sheer response to those criticising his absence at the peace accord signing, Tinubu shared a video of himself exercising on a bike with the caption: “Many have said I have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign. Well… Nope. This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and I am READY to serve Nigerians from Day One.”
Tinubu, was absent on Thursday when the presidential candidates of other political parties signed a peace accord ahead of the 2023 elections.
Although Tinubu was represented at the occasion which took place at the International Conference Centre (ICC) Abuja by his running mate, Kashim Shettima, his absence generated a lot of reaction and rumor.
Other contenders in the presidential race, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, Peter Obi of the Labour Party, and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, were all present.
Theliberationnews authoritatively reported that Tinubu is currently in London, United Kingdom for a short vacation in preparation for the rigorous electioneering activities.
