The Lagos State Technical Implementation Committee on Transmutation has visited the University for Mock Resource Verification ahead of the main exercise to be conducted by the National Universities Commission (NUC).

The 8-man team was led by a former Vice Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, Prof. Femi Bamiro.

The team inspected the general campus outlook, clear designation of Academic Units and service Departments, library and clinic facilities, technical facilities, designation of physical structures, ICT/Internet facilities, staff CVs, see the school’s areas of specialisation, religious centers, administrative structure, and recreational facilities.

The Ag. Vice Chancellor, Dr. Oluremi Nurudeen Olaleye assured the team of the University’s readiness for full university academic activities.

“We are fully ready, the management and the Governing Council had also done the mock in preparation for the Technical Implementation Committee,” he said.

He added that the exercise will improve the degree of readiness ahead of the NUC team’s visitation.

After the exercise, one of the Professors noted that “the arrival of LASUSTECH is intimidating to existing universities.”

“This is the university like no other,” he added.
