Prof. Ibilola Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, the Vice Chancellor, Lagos State University, LASU, on Tuesday lost her mother, Chief (Mrs.) Jadesola Ibidapo.
She passed away in the evening of Tuesday, 13th September, 2022 at the age of 90 years.
The death of the deceased was announced by LASU via the official Facebook page of the University.
“Mother of the Vice Chancellor, Chief (Mrs) Jadesola Ibidapo has passed on. She died in the evening of Tuesday, 13th September, 2022 at the age of 90 years.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, mni, has craved the prayers of all members of the university community at this time,” the statement read in part.
The statement added that burial arrangements will be announced by the family in due course.
While praying for the repose of the nonagenarian, the VC carved for empathy and prayers from members of the university and general public.
