Popular Nigerian Singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2face, has demanded for the release his embattled colleague Ice Prince.
The Veteran singer lamented the arrest of his colleague in an Instagram post on Saturday. The singer wrote: “@Nigerianpolice has it become a crime to be a young person in this country? Every protest and struggle is also for you to have better pay and equipment and proper retirement benefits. #FREEICEPRINCE.”
Theliberationnews reported that police on Friday arraigned the ‘Oleku’ crooner on three counts bordering on assault, obstruction and abduction of a policeman all of which he pleaded not guilty.
Magistrate Taiwo Oyaniyi granted him bail in the sum of N500,000. He was to also provide two sureties.
He will remain in Ikoyi prison till the perfection of his bail conditions, the magistrate ruled.
