A top flight chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Kemi Nelson, is dead, Theliberationnews can authoritatively report.
Chief Nelson, a member of the revered Governors Advisory Council (GAC) in Lagos State died on Sunday, 17 July, 2022 after a long battle with cancer, as confirmed by a close relative who spoke under condition of anonymity to Theliberationnews.
Chief Nelson was a former commissioner for Women’s Affairs and Poverty Alleviation (WAPA); South-West Woman Leader of the party and a staunch loyallst of the foremost Presidential Candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
As a renowned socialite, Chief Nelson was, until her death the Yeye Oge of Lagos state.
