The Oyo State Deputy Governor, Engr. Rauf Olaniyan, has been impeached by the State House of Assembly.
Olaniyan was impeached by the lawmakers on Monday around 11:30 am.
The lawmakers announced Olaniyan’s impeachment during the plenary following the recommendation of the seven-man panel set up to investigate allegations levelled against him.
The panel report was read by the Majority Leader of the House, Sanjo Adedoyin from Ogbomoso.
