In a strategic move, theliberationnews can authoritatively reveal that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, foremost presidential candidate in the country and National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC) has appointed Adams Oshiomhole, erstwhile Edo state governor and former national chairman of APC, the Chairman of his Presidential Campaign Council.

Sources close to theliberationnews disclosed this and equally revealed that Nasir El-Rufai, current Governor of Kaduna State has also been named as the Director General of the Campaign Council.

Theliberationnews reported on Tuesday that Tinubu hosted a meeting comprising Oshiomhole, El-Rufai and Bello Matawalle and Simon Lalong, governors of Zamfara and Plateau states respectively at his Asokoro, Abuja residence. The decision was, according to theliberationnews sources an outcome of that highly strategic meeting.

In view of the reverence accorded President Mohammadu Buhari by Tinubu, and the high premium placed on party supremacy by the foremost APC presidential candidate in the nation, the decision was an outcome of concurrence of the president and other critical stakeholders in the 2023 presidential project.
